The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially issued an important notification regarding the examination city and Admission Certificate (Admit Card) for candidates appearing in the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2026 (Tier-I).
As per the official notice, the SSC CGL Tier-I exam for 2026 is scheduled to be held from 30.09.2026 to 30.10.2026. Registered candidates can check their exam city and details by logging into the designated login module on the official SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in/.

Important Guidelines for 'Own Scribe' Facility
Candidates who are availing the 'Own Scribe' facility in the CGL 2026 (Tier-I) examination must take note of the following updated guidelines:
- Fresh scribe registration is mandatory on the Commission's website, as registrations prior to 05.11.2025 stand disposed off.
- The scribe registration has been integrated with Aadhaar Authentication.
- Candidates opting for 'own scribe' must map their Scribe OTR till 24.09.2026 (11:00 P.M.). Scribe Entry Passes will only be generated for candidates who successfully map their Scribe OTR.
